The Centre for Development Research and Innovation - CE.RI.SV.I. is a research institute that conducts basic scientific research, industrial research and experimental development services in support of public and private organizations
Mission Statement
The mission is to implement initiatives to research
and innovation in strategic sectors, as well as to
disseminate the results through publication, dissemination and technology transfer actions.
The objectives of the Research Institute are:
- development of infrastructure for research, innovation and technology transfer,
- support of territorial and transnational cooperation activities,
- development of innovative services for start-ups,
- promotion and implementation of initiatives to support the transfer of research results, and the creation of spin-off
A New Model for Research - The Open Research Center
The CERISVI carries out experimental and theoretical research and innovation projects to acquire
new knowledge on key strategic sectors of the new economy, implements research or critical
investigation aimed at the acquisition of new knowledge and skills for developing new products,
processes or services.
The Knowledge Model of CERISVI is based on the aggregation process of intellectual and social
capital, adopt an organizational model "open source", integrating the technical experience with
the excellence scientific competences in various fields of research.
The Institutional Activities
The institutional activities of the Research Center are expected to refer to the following lines of action :
- Industrial Research and Experimental Development
- Integrated projects for technological innovation
- Research Infrastructures
- Support for entrepreneurship and services for research and technology transfer

In 2008 obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001 : 2008 , the tool that provides the requirements for a quality management system for an organization that :
- wants to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customer requirements and applicable regulatory requirements
- aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system , including processes to improve it
